Thanks To Your Generosity
The Josh Rojas Foundation Has:
- Reached out to over 100 families grieving the sudden loss of their child. Each family received a personal letter from our family expressing our heartfelt empathy and support. We also enclose a packet that includes various pieces of grief literature. It includes information about current support groups, how to support siblings/friends, and how to function through the holidays.
- In some cases, we have been able to make a donation to area families who have needed assistance with the expense of a funeral or marker for their child. We hope to someday be able to lend even more support to even more families. The expense of a funeral and burial can financially devastate a family who is already emotionally devastated by their overwhelming loss. Contact us and share your story.
- Sponsored the Josh Rojas Used Soccer Equipment Drive at local travel soccer tournaments. In the 2006, over $5000 of soccer equipment was donated to a program for under-privileged children in Paranoa, Brazil. In 2007, over $1300 of equipment was donated to East High School for their new modified soccer program and over $4400 of soccer equipment was donated to the ROC E6 Program. Our 2008/2009 equipment drives will be assisting Kick For Nick, a soccer team in the Philippines, a training centre in Rwanda and Beanies for Baghdad.
