Ceremony of Remembrance for our children (of any age) who have died before us
This spiritual observance is held every December at Church of the Transfiguration, 50 West Bloomfield Road, Pittsford, NY. It is sponsored by the Jeff Milano-Johnson Memorial Fund and is held in conjunction with The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting. Families and friends who have experienced the death of a child, young adult, sibling, or grandchild are welcome. Please keep this event in mind for next year's holiday season. It is a very soothing and peaceful observance that truly touches everyone who attends.
- A slideshow runs before the event, children's names are read during the ceremony and light refreshments follow.
- You are asked to submit name and picture of person being honored, for the slideshow, by early DECEMBERto: childrenneverforgotten@gmail.com.
- You may also bring photos (framed pictures able to stand work best, no larger than 8x10) by 6:15 p.m. on the evening of the event.
- If you are not able to RSVP in time, please come anyway.
