For the past few years, we have been able to financially assist some area families with expenses pertaining to the loss of their child. For full disclosure, we are a small organization and, sadly, cannot financially assist every family in the Rochester, NY area. Therefore, each request is handled on a case-by-case basis. If you are a bereaved family who has suffered this devastating loss or you know of a family that may need our financial assistance, please print out and complete this Financial Assistance Request Form. Then, attach the completed form to an email back to us for our review and consideration.
Expenses our organization financially assists with include:
- Services, funerals, or burials
- Small headstones
- Cremations
- Urns, Niches, flowers, or memorial jewelry (ashes)
To adhere to our mission, the Criteria for a financial gift from the Josh Rojas Foundation is:
- Sudden, unexpected death of the child, who is age 21 or below
- Family must reside in New York State (Buffalo, Rochester, or Syracuse area)
- Any financial gift will be sent directly to the funeral home or monument provider chosen by the family
